Instructions for use of double wall glass reactor:

● Please be familiar with the entire contents of this manual before installation, use, maintenance and inspection, and use it correctly.
 
● The power supply voltage is consistent with that specified by the instrument.
 
● No-load operation is not suitable for high-speed operation
 
● The life of the electrical box is greatly affected by the surrounding temperature and humidity. Please keep the governor and motor dry.
 
● Install the machine first, then wire it by an electrician, and turn it on. The ground terminal must be grounded. The high temperature bath is connected to the air switch.
 
● Within 5 minutes after the power is turned off, there may still be an electric shock due to the discharge of the inverter or capacitor.
 
● When working, pay attention to the impact damage to the glass by the hard objects (watches, rings, belt buckles, etc.) on your body.
 
● Be careful when connecting the vacuum tube and water tube, so as not to break the glass with excessive force and damage the human body.
 
● When it is necessary to use a high-temperature circulating oil bath, pay attention to the damage caused by high temperature to the human body. It is recommended to use a heat-conducting oil (dimethicone oil, kinematic viscosity of 100) with little damage to the human body as a solvent. Special attention should be paid to the high temperature cycle, the circulating pump should be turned on first, and the temperature should be raised slowly under the condition that the thermally conductive solvent is circulated.
 
Installation of the instrument:

(Only for the reaction kettle below 5L, equipped with special personnel for installation above 5L)
 
1. After opening the package, check whether the main accessories of the machine are complete according to the packing list.
 
2. Assemble the frame with the stainless steel tube and the fixing parts as shown in the attached picture.
 
3. Install the electrical box on the right rear pole, tighten the screws, and insert the seven-pin plug. The vacuum gauge is installed on the left rear end, just tighten the screw.
 
4. According to the height of use, fix the circular bracket of the kettle on the vertical rod slider, put the kettle on the bracket, and use the semi-circular hoop to fix the neck of the kettle and insert it into the vertical rod slider respectively. After closing, tighten the fixing screws. When installing, note that the main body of the stainless steel lab reactor is vertical.
 
5. The stirring rod is fixed on the gear ring chuck of the main shaft of the motor, and the stirring rod passes through the middle of the cover to rotate the bearing, tighten the connector, and then adjust the position of the motor, paying attention to the vertical concentricity.
 
6. The slider on the pole is a stainless steel multi-purpose clip that can be fixed and adjusted in different directions and heights.
 
7. The 40# standard port on the left of the bottle cap is inserted into a snake-type reflux condenser, the right 40# standard port is the feeding port connected to the constant pressure funnel, the 24# standard port in the middle front is the thermometer sleeve port, and the rear of the cap is the 34# standard port It is a multi-function spare port, with a discharge valve at the bottom, and the upper and lower parts of the kettle are the inlet and outlet of the circulating liquid. The lower port is connected to the circulating liquid inlet, and the upper port is connected to the circulating liquid return port.
 
8. Clean when installing glass instruments, apply Vaseline to each interface to prevent the glass from locking up, and then apply vacuum grease to prevent air leakage.

Maintenance of jacket glass reactor lab:

First, pay attention to heat preservation. It is understood that due to the small thickness of the interlayer in the double-layer glass reactor, the thermal insulation performance is poor. In the process of using high temperature and low temperature, users need to use thermal insulation materials to protect the kettle body.
 
At the same time, the user needs to wrap the reactor body and the liquid-conducting pipes with thermal insulation materials, and pay attention to the thickness of the thermal insulation layer to ensure a good thermal insulation effect.
 
Second, the choice of temperature control medium. Generally speaking, according to the required reaction temperature, the user will select a temperature control medium with different properties as the heat transmission medium for the reaction. Choose ice ethanol bath for low temperature, water bath for normal temperature, and oil bath for high temperature.
 
It is recommended that when using low temperature or high temperature, pay attention to choosing the appropriate medium, the key is viscosity. "If the viscosity of the medium is too large, the circulating pump may not be able to carry it, and the medium circulation effect is not good, and the required temperature control effect cannot be achieved. If the high-power circulating pump is replaced rashly, the pressure of the medium pressed into it is too large, which is easy to damage the double-layer glass reactor. Lining, the reactor burst."
 
It is understood that usually manufacturers will choose the corresponding heating medium according to their own products.
 
Third, the storage location needs to be reasonable. The jacket glass reactor lab is used as a reaction amplification test device, and the volume is usually 50-150L, and the volume can be customized in specific cases. Therefore, the scale of the test should not be underestimated. Since the kettle body is made of glass, stainless steel is the bracket and the legs are casters, the storage location needs to be carefully selected.
 
As far as storage conditions are concerned, although the casters can be fixed with foot buckles, the stability is not strong. Therefore, during the storage process, the user should choose a flat place to lay it flat, and keep the mechanical stirring center consistent with the reaction kettle, otherwise it will easily shake and become unstable and cause a safety accident. In addition, it must be placed in a well-ventilated place.
 
Fourth, precautions for feeding. Since the 20l glass reactor lab is an independent reaction rack and the reserved feeding port is small, the feeding process is difficult.
 
In this regard, it is suggested that solid reagents can be formulated into solutions and added to the kettle, and liquid reagents can be pumped into the kettle through the matching water pump or oil pump. In particular, when the reaction material is added to the reaction kettle through a constant pressure dropping funnel or a common dropping funnel, a corresponding mobile ladder needs to be matched so that the staff can add the test material.
